Brian’s sister, Bree Cochran, joined JMA for Education Day to discuss maintaining wellness during the pandemic, which has caused stress for many people for a myriad of reasons. Bree focuses on how we’re impacted by the food we eat, the sleep we get, how (and how often) we are active throughout the day, and how we handle stress.
Some of Bree’s quick tips:
- Avoid looking at a screen for a half hour to an hour before bed.
- Try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise (defined as any physical exertion) every day.
- Nutrition is different for everyone! Give yourself freedom to experiment with what is right for your body.
- Make a mandatory appointment with yourself every day to check in with your mental health.
